Celebration Bible Church is a Christian community located in southwest Grandville that is excited about following God while growing, loving, and serving together. We are committed to the scriptures and desire for them to shape everything we do from our nursery ministry to our Sunday morning teaching to our student ministries to our involvement in our neighborhood and the world. We understand that we are all on a journey and strive to provide ways for people to deepen their relationship with God from whatever point they are at. Jim was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and moved to Grand Rapids in 2003. He currently lives in Grandville with his wife, daughter and retired racing greyhound. He enjoys reading, running, cycling, drinking fine coffee, soccer and going for walks around town. He is a long-suffering fan of the Seattle Mariners.
BETH FERGUSON

Beth has been part of the CBC community for since 2015. She lives in Grandville with her husband Kevin and 7 year old son. They enjoy outdoor activities, summer outdoor concerts and spending time with friends and family.
JEN GOULETTE
worship service coordinator
Jen has been a part of the Celebration community for over a decade and has served on the worship team since 2010. She enjoys structuring and being a part of the worship gatherings each week. Jen lives in Jenison with her husband BJ and four children.
BELIEFS

The Bible is the inspired Word of God.

There is one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit

Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is fully God and fully man.

All of us by nature are sinners and are unable to do anything to earn God’s favor.

God saves us by His grace through the death of Christ on the cross for our sins. Salvation comes as a free gift from God through faith.

All those who have received salvation by faith are eternally secure in Christ.

The Holy Spirit is a Person. He convicts us of sin, regenerates, and indwells all believers from the moment of their salvation.

There is one church, the Body of Christ. All who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior are members of that church.

All Christians are called by God to live free from sin through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Christ rose bodily from the dead and we will too. The unsaved will be raised to eternal punishment and believers will be raised to spend eternity in God’s presence.

As sinners saved by God’s grace we have a duty to share with others the good news of salvation. We should do so with those we come in contact with and to those elsewhere through our participation in missions.
