Missions

We take seriously our obligation to spread the good news of salvation to others, including those who live in places we’ll never see. Celebration supports missionaries in several places around the world who work to spread the gospel through a variety of ministries.

Steve & Susan Vinton (Village Schools International) are currently working in Tanzania setting up secondary schools for young adults who would not otherwise have any chance at an education. These students are exposed to the gospel through chapel services, but more importantly through interaction with teachers who model Christian love and compassion. These students go on to be an influence for the gospel in their villages where their education earns respect and their new-found faith in Christ brings hope for this life and the life to come. Dan & MarySue Reed will begin their ministry in Bolivia in August of ‘06. Dan, who spent several years here in the States pastoring a church in Ohio, will teach in the Bible College helping to train Bolivian pastors. MarySue will work in women’s ministries and help with raising their three children.

Rikki Anne Zanella has been serving in Costa Rica for the last five years. Her ministries include teaching in the school and working in women’s ministries at the church.
